This will help strengthen the foundation of the organization. Artists are encouraged to sign up in the coming months to become members.

strengthening governance

Several positions were filled, with Afande Fred and Jimmy Ogwang acting as custodians, Kaka Morrish taking over as secretary, Lucy Skin taking over as assistant, and OD Alex being appointed administrator. Can Apoto’s position will be filled by Pro. Morris King of Water.

the prestigious position of Vice President is still open, and LAGAA will announce the right candidate soon.

Spread the gospel far and wide

LAGAA is passionate about spreading the gospel message beyond the borders of Lira. The group plans to expand its operations to neighboring districts, with Gulu as its first stop.
This will involve working with gospel artists to reach a wider audience.

Building bridges through music

LAGAA hopes to promote unity and collaboration among gospel musicians from diverse backgrounds. The meeting unveiled plans to hold a concert with Acholi artists. The event promises to be a beautiful symbol of social cohesion and shared acceptance.

In addition, LAGAA establishes collaborations with artists from Soroti, Kumam, West Nile, and Kjong.

Bringing gospel music to the big cities

LAGAA recognizes the potential of spreading its message across major cities in Uganda. The group is currently hosting concerts in Kampala, Jinja, Wakiso, and Entebbe.
These events will target the Lango and Luo people living in these areas, giving artistes the opportunity to evangelize and uplift the spirit of the community.

Being united in faith, and committed to the gospel

LAGAA emphasizes unity in its design. The meeting emphasized the idea of working together as one team irrespective of religion.

However, LAGAA defines its purpose by distancing itself from secular music, focusing on sharing the gospel message through its songs.

DEMONSTRATE the emphasis on enrollment, strong governance, communication, and collaboration that points to a bright future for this organization.

With this foundation in place, LAGAA is poised to become a powerful tool for spreading the gospel and bringing communities together through gospel music.
