Popular Northern Uganda gospel artist and minister, Pastor Joseph Okidi, is currently in a critical condition, fighting for his life following a devastating motorcycle accident.
The incident occurred on Tuesday, September 30th, at Akurukwe along the Gulu-Juba road. The artist, renowned for his song “Yoo Na Leng,” was reportedly riding his bike back from his farm in Amuru when the accident took place.
Pastor Okidi sustained numerous injuries in the crash. He was immediately rushed for emergency medical attention and is currently admitted to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at Lacor Hospital.
The news has sent shockwaves through the local gospel music community and his congregation. Followers and fans across Northern Uganda are being called upon to keep the minister in their prayers as he battles for recovery.
