GospelKingz is a platform dedicated to Gospel music and Christian content creation. We take copyright infringement seriously. As a music platform hosting artist-uploaded content, we rely on the good faith of our users to upload only content they own or have rights to.

We comply with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), 17 U.S.C. § 512, and will promptly respond to valid takedown notices.

📋 How to File a DMCA Takedown Notice

If you believe content on GospelKingz infringes your copyright, please send a written notice to our Designated Copyright Agent. Your notice must include:

• 1. Identification of the copyrighted work — Describe the original work you claim has been infringed (e.g., song title, album name, recording label)
• 2. Identification of the infringing material — Provide the exact URL on GospelKingz where the infringing content appears
• 3. Your contact information — Full name, postal address, telephone number, and email address
• 4. Good faith statement — A statement that you have a good faith belief that the disputed use is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law
• 5. Accuracy statement — A statement that the information in your notice is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that you are the copyright owner or authorised to act on behalf of the owner
• 6. Physical or electronic signature — Your physical or electronic signature

🔄 Counter-Notification Procedure

If your content was removed as a result of a DMCA takedown notice and you believe it was removed in error (e.g., the content is your original work), you may file a counter-notification containing:

• Your contact information (name, address, phone, email)
• Identification of the removed content and its original URL
• A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief the content was wrongly removed
• A statement consenting to jurisdiction of the Federal District Court
• Your physical or electronic signature

Upon receiving a valid counter-notification, we may restore the content within 10–14 business days unless the original complainant seeks a court order.

🚫 Repeat Infringer Policy

In accordance with the DMCA and our Terms of Service, GospelKingz maintains a policy of terminating accounts of users who are found to be repeat copyright infringers. A user who receives three or more valid DMCA notices will have their account permanently suspended.

⚡ Abuse of DMCA Process

Filing a false DMCA takedown notice is a serious matter. Misrepresentation of copyright claims can result in legal liability for perjury and damages under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f). If you are unsure whether material infringes your copyright, consult a legal professional before filing.
